A strong core is crucial for runners’ stability, balance, posture and overall control—that’s even more important for mom runners. In this class, the focus will be on strengthening your major muscles with a special emphasis on running postpartum and the muscles you need for running. The workout will last 45 minutes and will be followed by a stretch and diastasis recti check. Verena Schiml, owner of Momin Balance new York, certified personal trainer at Mom in Balance NYC is teaching that class. Verena is an experienced and passionate runner who ran the 2017 TCS New York City Marathon.
