Terms and conditions Mom in Balance

  Mom in Balance offers different membership forms. The longer the membership form, the lower the price!  When you start you choose which form you will use. You can also choose our Flex card. If you choose the membership it is always automatically extended into the new period. This will be the same membership form as the current one unless you change it via info@mominbalance.ch. There is also the option to order our Back in Shape or Stay Healthy during Pregnancy Book with the exercise band. 

The membership can be ended via email with a 1 month notice period. After your notice you will receive your final invoice. If you have the monthly subscription there is also a 1 month notice period. If you want to only join us for one month, no problem, just let us know right away when you start. 

  Subscription will take place via the application form on the website. The subscription will start on the day of entry as indicated on the application form (provided that there is space available in the desired group)

If you don’t have 3 months left until your Due date, but you want to go for the Quarterly membership you can start this Membership form for a a shorter period as well and use the workouts that are left for your Back in Shape membership. You can contact info@mominbalance.ch  to make an arrangement that suits your pregnancy. 

By subscribing via the website or via Email, you declare to accept the terms and conditions of Mom in Balance.

You can change your subscription from once a week to Unlimited at any time by sending an e-mail to info@mominbalance.ch  (provided that there is space available in the desired group) Changing the subscription from Unlimited into once a week is possible with a notice period of one month by sending an e-mail to info@mominbalance.ch

It is possible to (temporarily) pause your subscription if you’re not able to participate due to an injury. This need to be announced as soon as possible via info@mominbalance.ch with a Doctor's note. 

If you are pregnant, your Mpower subscription can be changed into the Pregnant subscription by sending an e-mail to info@mominbalance.ch

Subscription and (payment) terms

Dues must be paid after receiving the invoice via e-mail. The payment should be done by bank transfer. 

 It is always your responsibility to check your e-mail for invoices. If you change your e-mail adres always let us know via info@mominbalance.ch 

 If you fail to pay us the fees by the due date, we are entitled to refuse you participating in the workouts. If unpaid fees remain outstanding, and after attempts by us to rectify the arrears your membership may be forwarded to a collection agency for further action. Any associated costs will be recovered on you.

Mom in Balance is entitled to end the subscription in case of remaining unpaid fees. Payment is still required.

Mom in Balance is entitled to change subscription fees. You will be noticed with a minimum of 1 month about the fee change.

The subscription is personal and non - transferable.


Mom in Balance is entitled to change workout -times/- location/ programs etc.

Despite of the weather, the workouts will always take place. Only under extreme weather conditions or because of illness of the trainer, the workout can be cancelled. You will always get a possibility to catch up at a different time in that same week. Cancellation of the workout will be communicated (by mail) not later than one hour before the start of the workout.

Workouts take place throughout the whole year. Except for national public holidays, without fee reduction or refund. This goes for Christmas, Silvester, New Yearsday, Easter, Himmelfahrt and Pfingsten. 

 During holiday periods Mom in Balance could adjust the regular holiday schedule without fee reduction or refund. Holiday schedules are being announced via website, newsletter and facebook. 

Mom in Balance can not be held responsible for any lost items.

If you choose not to take part in the workouts Mom in Balance is offering, no refund will be made. Nor will this be added to your new period. It is always possible to catch up the missed workouts on other days. Always within the period of 3 months. The right to catch up missed workouts expires after ending the membership. Missed workouts can not be added to your current period as extra weeks of that period. 

You can not -temporarily- stop the subscription due to holidays, except for the special arrangements during the Christmas and Summer period if you are away for more than 4 weeks. It is always possible to catch up the missed workouts on other days. Always within the period of 3 months, The right to catch up missed workouts expires after ending the membership.

During Christmas break (15th of December until the mid January) you could pause your membership if you are away on holiday for more than 4 weeks. The same goes for the Summer period from mid June until end of August. Your pause should always be announced upfront with one month notice and via e-mail. 

Participation is at your own risk. During the workouts you will listen to your own body, and follow the trainers’ instructions.

 All members are kindly asked to use our App. You are automatically signed up for your regular workout. If you are not coming you can easily sign out via the App. That way you get a credit to make up for the workout any other day. If you do not sign out you loose your workout. With a membership you need to sign out 1 hr before the workout start in order to keep your credit. 

Flexcard and premium card

 We offer 2 different flex cards. The premium card for members who already have a membership and want to come to extra classes and the Flexcard for non - members who want to have a very flexibel way of training. 

 With the card you are automatically signed up for a regular workout. You need to sign out at least 12 hrs before the workout in order to keep the workout. You can of course always sign up for other workouts too. However in order to get the last information about the workout we kindly ask you to do that at least 6 hrs before the workout starts. 

 Your card has 10 credits on it. The premium card is valid as long as your regular membership runs. After you have ended your regular membership you can not use any left over credits on the card. 

 The Flex card has 10 credits on it and is valid for 6 months. Any left over credits after 6 months will be lost. 

 To make it easy for you you will automatically get a new card and invoice after your card has finished however you can always let us know that you don’t want a new card by sending an e-mail to info@mominbalance.ch. There is no notice period but you have to let us know within the same week that you’ve received the new card if you don’t want it.

Ending the subscription

The Pregnant subscription can be ended after your first membership period. If you don’t feel safe /good anymore, you can always end the membership. Without a termination the Pregnant subscription will be extended automatically until the maximum of your due date.

The Mpower and the Back in Shape subscription have a notice of 1 month.

After the first period, the membership is automatically extended the same period. Member can also choose to change the membership form by letting us know via info@mominbalance.ch

 A membership can never be ended by telling the trainer. It should always be communicated via info@mominbalance.ch
