We offer outdoor workouts for pregnant women, postpartum recovery workouts and total body workouts for all women who want to be fit and in shape. Our workouts will not only help you to become stronger and improve your physical fitness but will also give you energy and a positive mindset. This is exactly what you need in the first years of motherhood! During the workouts, there is always room for your personal needs and wishes, do not hesitate to discuss this with your trainer.
Meet our founder Esther van Diepen. Mother of 4 kids, a successful entrepreneur and a sports enthusiast. Together with her husband and children, she lived in New York for a few years, where she was pleasantly surprised by all the (soon-to-be) mothers working out in city parks. Esther was inspired by this and came up with the idea of Mom in Balance. In collaboration with various experts, she laid the foundation of our unique sports program and launched the program upon her return to The Netherlands in 2008 …and the rest is history.
The Mom in Balance sports program is specially designed for women. Our workouts are designed in collaboration with the best gynaecologists and pelvic floor specialists and are specially tailored to the pregnant, recovering and fit body.
Train outdoors in the fresh air, all year round! Functional total body workout specifically for the pregnant/recovering body. Special attention for a strong back and stability of the pelvis. Awareness and then recovery of the pelvic floor muscles. Improve your fitness level by doing cardio exercises. Meet other inspiring women in the same stage of motherhood.
Our professional education team trains the Mom in Balance trainers, in both theory and practice. Trainers also do an internship, after which they receive an official Mom in Balance certificate. Furthermore, we meet with all the trainers every six months in order to discuss new developments.
