SPORTS AFTER YOUR PREGNANCY - BACK IN SHAPE WORKOUT
You have just given birth and have a baby that demands a lot of attention and love. This leaves little time left for yourself. Nevertheless, in the first weeks after delivery, it is very important that you take care of and treat yourself well in addition to the baby. The better you take care of yourself, the faster the recovery will be and the more you can enjoy your baby. Take time for yourself, work on an active recovery of your body and slowly rebuild your condition. Feel strong again and renew your energy. Meet like-minded moms and exchange experiences. A positive mindset is exactly what you need in the first years of motherhood.

WHEN CAN I BEGIN WITH SPORTS AFTER PREGNANCY?

From 6 weeks after your birth and with the approval of your midwife or gynaecologist, you may (carefully) start exercising again. By exercising after your birth you quickly feel physically and mentally stronger, you actively work on restoring your body and damaged structures, improve your fitness, you build a sports routine and you create a relaxed moment for yourself in a busy period.
 
The Back in Shape workout from Mom in Balance is provided by expert trainers and has been developed in collaboration with gynaecologists and pelvic floor specialists. This way you start exercising after a given in a responsible manner. During the workout, there is always room to discuss your personal needs and wishes with the trainer.
 
The challenging workouts in the fresh air will make you feel strong and energetic again. Through the personal attention of professional trainers, you get to work with functional training that is specially formulated for the recovering body after delivery. During the workouts, special attention is paid to strengthening your back and extra attention to the recovery of your pelvic floor muscles. Improve your fitness with the cardio exercises and recharge yourself to renew your energy. Use exercise after childbirth as an ME-time moment and get in contact with other inspiring women who are in the same phase.

MOM IN BALANCE
