TIPS FOR A GOOD NIGHT REST

Just sending that one e-mail or quickly finishing that to-do before you go to sleep? Despite the fact that we know that sleeping is good for us, our good night's sleep is often the thing that we don't pay attention to when we are busy. Do you agree?

Sleep is an important source of energy. It is a moment for your body and mind to relax. During sleep, your muscles relax, your heart rate and breathing slow and your consciousness decreases. Especially when you are busy and when there is a lot of play, you can easily get bogged down in thoughts that keep coming back - preferably during the night hours - with the result that you sleep less well. Do you suffer from this a lot and do you want to sleep better? Then make sure you get into a relaxation mode earlier in the evening. This way you get up energized the next morning!

This is how you slowly end the day:

  1. Drink tea in the evening instead of coffee.
  2. Write down your thoughts and to do's.
  3. Take a relaxing bath or shower in the evening.
  4. Read a relaxing book before going to sleep.
  5. Start relaxing an hour before going to sleep and preferably no more screens 2 hours before going to sleep.
