A wonderful energy boost to start the day!
The sun salutation is a complete workout for body and mind. The sequence consists of a number of postures coordinated by your breathing. The transition from one posture to the next is facilitated by either an inhalation or an exhalation. The purpose of the sun salutation is to improve blood circulation throughout the body and strengthen the most important muscles and thereby increase the energy in the body.
Do the sun salutation 2 or 3 times a week, repeating it a few times in a session. During your entire exercise, focus on your breathing. Try breathing in and out every time you change your pose. Breathe in through the nose and powerfully out through the mouth with pursed lips.
