YES, time to relax and recharge, how lovely can the summer holidays be! However, how do you really recharge yourself? Taking care of yourself is the key, but what does this contain?

Awake all night, changing diapers, and (breast)feeding. It’s a challenge to create moments for yourself. It’s all out of love, but when was the last time you really took care of yourself?

When we think of selfcare, the first thing that comes in mind is undisturbed watching a series on the couch with pizza. ‘Relaxing’, but if we’re completely honest we don’t feel more energetic after such an evening on the couch. How come? Selfcare isn’t about rewarding yourself occasionally. Selfcare is an active activity and part of your everyday life. By for example eating healthy, meditating or exercising, your self-esteem gets a daily boost.

Make selfcare a part of your everyday routine and you’ll experience how good it feels to think about yourself. When you feel good in your own skin, you have so much more to give to your family!
