Have you ever run somewhere and arrived back at home only to realize you remember nothing about your route? Or started eating a bowl of fruit and then suddenly noticed all you had left was an empty bowl? Most of us have!
These are some common examples of a state we also often refer to as being on ‘autopilot.’ But for our well-being, it is essential to stop the 'autopilot' and take a few minutes each day to cultivate mental spaciousness and achieve a positive mind-body balance. Maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and the surrounding environment. It's called Mindfulness!
