At first I just wanted to do some sports. But then Mom in Balance motivated me and I had so much fun, that I became "addicted". Now I am not sure ho wto continue sportswise after Tokyo as the bar has been set high!

MIB is my life changer!! 
There is hardly none of the workout classes or gyms that offer babysitter service on spot and working out by myself didn’t motivate me to keep up with workouts. I felt so much difference mentally and physically, I felt more energized after each workout and could also feel my whole body getting stronger!! Moreover, it’s really great and fun to workout with other moms!!

I joined MiB when I was about 17 weeks pregnant and it was the best thing I could have done. I continued the workouts throughout my pregnancy and for many months postnatal. I found it gave me the best chance to move and stay strong in the most sensible and effective way. I love that the workouts change according to where you are at physically with your pregnancy or postpartum. The trainers are all incredible and I’ve met a bunch of wonderfully like minded women. Getting the chance to get outside, work up a sweat, meet fantastic people and know that you’re doing it all in the best possible way. What more could you ask for? Thanks for everything Moms in Balance, you’re all so inspiring!

Mom In Balance (MIB) was my favorite part of pregnancy! In a safe environment, I was able to stay physically active, breath fresh air, share and garner support from other English-speaking women in Tokyo. I had tried group exercise classes prior to my pregnancy, but often felt something was lacking. ENTER Mom In Balance, providing all factors! Needed: outdoor environment and great workout for all levels, and all the things I never knew I needed: support and laughter of other women at all life stages. Thank you MIB for everything!

Mom In Balance is a life changing workout and community of incredible women who will support you throughout and after your pregnancy! I can’t recommend it enough, and I am always talking it up to new women who move to Tokyo. The workout was my favorite time of the week because I could focus on my own health; meet women who understood my stresses, joys, and concerns; and the coaches are incredibly well trained to protect our pre/post partum bodies. My twice a week workouts made me in the best fitness of my life. I am so grateful to all of the coaches!

I absolutely enjoyed the MiB sessions in the park. It took me by surprise as I'm usually not a fan of group workouts. But the set up in the park, rain or shine, just had a very special vibe. The rainy, muddy workouts will stay with me for long. It's something special when adults look like kids after a good workout and all head home for a much needed shower with a big smile. 
The set up of the sessions are well done so that every fitness level gets the best out of the workout. The trainers have a great way to push yourself as far as you can and feel for - and even a bit further. I love that the focus is on working with your own body (weight) and no additional equipment apart from a flexi-band and "park available tools" are being used. It makes it easy to do some of the exercises at home or on holiday, too. Thank you MiB Tokyo for bringing me such joy at a group session workout and to be out there with us - rain or shine!
